That's easy: get one. What is this, 2003? Or here's what you do--- print out this page, and cross out the movies in pen to keep track yourself. You can still click on the movie names below and post a comment so that you can get credit for watching the movie.
What if I didn't like the movie?
Then think of it as: "Whew, I like that this movie is checked off." But, c'mon. If you seriously don't like a Nic Cage film, then what are you really doing here?

Please tell me you actually have a stack of signed headshots to hand out, because that is wonderful, hahaha.

I'm looking forward to seeing "The Frozen Ground" in the theater as a capstone event.

There's really only one way to find out if we have the stack of head shots or not, and you (robinlovesrain) have quite a bit of work to do before then. I can tell you this: The only thing better than an 8x10 glossy of Dr. Cage's face is an 8x10 glossy of Dr. Cage's face with black pen scribbled across his face...

"Capstone event" Driggers? Have you been following incognito? I'll tell you we are really looking forward to it.

Hey so is this still an active/ongoing thing? I'd love to get a headshot of my favorite actor!

It is 2018 and the Cage list now has 85 entries. I'm on track to completing it in a record 6 month time, including rewatching movies I had previously seen. I will never be the same person again.

It's 2019 and I'm going to do this! However the Like buttons don't work for me. And I can't find this on Facebook. My reviews won't be much more than ''I liked it/I didn't like it'' so sorry about that in advance.

Hey the buttons started working for me Today!

#14 211 (2018) YouTube. First Time View. One of the later Movies from after this website. I don't get the title. It should have been called The Ride Along. I enjoyed it. Note Nic Cage has been in at least 24 movies since The Croods. I'm going to put them in this comment section.

#58 Arsenal (2017) Syfy On Demand, First Time View. This was great! I watched it last night. The first half starred the guy who played the asshole in That Thing You Do! then he got sideline for most of the second half which starred the guy playing his brother & John Cusack. Nicolas Cage had what could be described as four short cameos in the picture. But he was awesome anyway! I don't know why this was on Syfy!?

#60 Pay The Ghost (2015) My DVD that I got at Dollar General for $2.95 First Time View. I really enjoyed this one. At first I thought the trailer gave away the whole movie but it didn't.

#61 Mom And Dad (2017) My DVD that I got at Walmart for $5.00 First Time View. I was really enjoying this up untill (spoilers) it ended without an ending. Nicolas Cage was great in this. Do the hokey pokey!

#64 Mandy (2018) Shudder on Demand, First Time View this was very slow and dreamlike for the first half, I fell asleep 3 times and had to rewind back to what I last remembered. The second half I didn't have any problem staying awake for. Nicolas Cage was great in this.
#65 The Frozen Ground (2013) Epix on Demand I'm pretty sure I saw this before. It was great.
I watched both of these yesterday but for some reason I'm having trouble with this page.

Well my Year in the Cage is over. I failed. Considering I started cold with no planning or prepping I did pretty good. I only watched what I had, what came on during the year and several movies I purchased. From the 80's I never got a chance to watch Racing With The Moon (1984), The Cotton Club (1984) or Birdy (1984) but I'd seen those before. (Yes I know, that doesn't count!) From the 90's I'd seen Leaving Las Vegas (1995) & City Of Angels (1998) before. (Yes I know, that doesn't count!) Amos & Andrew (1993) was scheduled on one of the channels I get but when I went to watch it - the end credits were playing - it started 2 hours earlier than scheduled. I never got a chance to see Welcome To Hollywood (1998). From the 2000's I didn't get to watch Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001) It was on YouTube for awhile but the sound was way too low and eventually it got removed. And I never got a chance to see The Weather Man (2005) but I've seen G-Force (2009) before. (Yes I know, that doesn't count!) From the 2010's Seeking Justice (2011) is the only film from this website's list that I was unable to see. So that's 11 Nick Cage Movies I came up short. I did see 17 of the 300 movies (2013-2020) that came out after this website.

I watched 55 of the 66 films listed on this website.
I watched 17 of the 32 films that came out after this website.
