Epic Co-stars: Jeff Goldblum

Shauna's Review:
Adam Rifkin wrote, directed, and starred in this movie. Also he wrote and directed Never on Tuesday.

So the real writer/director of this movie, Adam Rifkin, stars in this movie as the director (named Adam Rifkin) of a documentary about making it in Hollywood. Tony Markes, the co-writer/co-director of this movie, plays Anton Markwell/ Nick Decker/ Dick Necker, a rookie actor trying to make it in Hollywood, who sucks.

We are only watching this because there are about 50 cameos of celebrities answering the question, "What is a star?" And Nic Cage is one of them. Unfortunately, there is a HELL of a lot of movie between those cameos.

The tagline for this is, "In the tradition of 'This is Spinal Tap' comes 'Welcome to Hollywood.'" Oof. Probably better if you don't make that comparison.

Movie quotability:

  • "Are you retarded?... there's just an air about you that seems a little, you know, retarded." -Tom Arnold
